Who we are and what drives us
Calidat represents a new generation of software solutions for product optimization, benchmarking, and cost engineering. Our goal is to help companies make better-informed decisions, design more efficient development processes, and ensure long-term product competitiveness.
Our roots lie in hands-on industry experience. Over many years, we have actively supported product optimization processes—particularly in the automotive sector. Time and again, we observed how fragmented data, methods, and tools can be. This is exactly where we come in.
Since our founding, we have been developing solutions that unify complex processes and make them structured and usable. What began as a specialized application has evolved into an integrated platform that supports companies throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Information Security Management (ISMS)
Calidat operates and maintains an ISMS in accordance with ISO 27001, including GDPR requirements. A comprehensive information security policy is established across the entire organization and actively implemented.
Secure AI environment
Uploading sensitive files to external AI platforms can pose significant risks. Calidat provides solutions that handle your sensitive data with the utmost care—in a controlled and secure environment.
Secure development practices
Our software is developed according to the latest state of the art. The OWASP Top Ten are taken into account. Regular penetration testing helps us identify and close vulnerabilities. The results are shared transparently with our customers.
Hosting & infrastructure
Your data is hosted either on your own servers or in the Calidat Cloud—within data centers certified according to ISO 27001 and BSI C5. The infrastructure is secured through firewalls, SSL certificates, real-time antivirus/antimalware, URL filtering, as well as redundant power supply and separate fire compartments.
Member of the Alliance for Cyber Security
Calidat is a member of the Alliance for Cyber Security (BSI initiative), giving us access to the latest best practices in cybersecurity.

Since 2020, Calidat has been part of the BSI’s Alliance for Cyber Security, making us a member of a strong network of industry, authorities, and research. This allows us to benefit from up-to-date expert knowledge, alerts on cyber threats, and continuous exchange on IT security best practices.
Cologne Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK)
Calidat works closely with the Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Cologne and Arnsberg, actively participating in regional business networks. Interaction with companies, institutions, and expert committees enables us to identify emerging trends early and continuously refine practical solutions.
Imaginaria Technology Solutions
Calidat maintains a long-standing partnership with Imaginaria, based in Pune, India. Through close collaboration, both companies benefit from shared expertise and international experience. Imaginaria supports Calidat as a sales partner for the QTRIX software in the Indian market, playing a key role in its successful local positioning.
FEV Consulting
Since 2022, Calidat has been collaborating closely with FEV Consulting. FEV uses QTRIX—referred to internally as “Carat”—to generate and share robust benchmarking insights with their clients. The partnership is continuously expanding and now also includes Value Management and Cost Engineering alongside benchmarking.
Loopings Consulting
Calidat maintains a long-standing partnership with Loopings, which dates back to before the founding of both companies. Together, we continuously develop new consulting offerings for our clients—particularly in the areas of innovation and value management.
